Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to career coaching, résumé development and related services provided by Dream Career 360. By purchasing our services, you agree to them.

Fuller terms are being published shortly. Until then, these apply.

The service includes one first draft of an ATS-optimised résumé within 7–8 business days of you confirming your order and sending us the information we need.

Up to five optimised versions are included, based on your feedback.

Coaching, interview preparation, LinkedIn work, roadmaps and other services are provided as described at the point of purchase. We provide what your purchase says we provide.

3. What this service is not

We do not promise an outcome. Our deliverables are professional development tools. They are not a guarantee of employment, an interview, a salary or any timeline. We will use our best effort and give you our honest opinion, but we do not control who hires you, and no one in this industry honestly can.

We are not immigration consultants. We are not licensed immigration consultants (RCICs), immigration lawyers or Quebec notaries. We do not give immigration advice, and we do not represent anyone on an immigration matter, even if asked. We will discuss the Canadian job market and how to present international experience. We will not advise on your visa, permit, permanent residence, eligibility, status or any application to IRCC. If your question is an immigration question, we will tell you to speak to a licensed professional.

We are also not lawyers, accountants, financial advisers, therapists, recruiters, or a credential-recognition body. We may discuss these subjects in general terms because they come up in a career conversation, but general discussion is not professional advice, and you should not act on it as though it were.

4. Your responsibilities

Send us your information in good time - career details, your previous résumé, your job targets. We are not responsible for delays caused by information arriving late or incomplete.

Everything we write for you is built from information you give us, and we do not verify it. You confirm that what you tell us - your employment history, job titles, dates, education, certifications, licences and skills - is true and accurate. You are responsible for reviewing what we produce before you use it, and for what you send to an employer.

5. Payment

Fees are payable in advance unless your order says otherwise. We begin work once payment has cleared.

All fees are plus GST/HST where applicable. We are currently a small supplier and are not registered for GST/HST, so no GST/HST is charged today. If that changes, tax is added on top of the price shown at the time - your fee will not go up to absorb it.

If an invoice is unpaid 30 days after its due date, we may apply a late charge of 10% of the outstanding balance. If it is still unpaid after 60 days, we may begin recovery, and reasonable recovery costs may be added.

6. Changing your mind

You may cancel within 7 days of purchase and receive a full refund, provided no session has taken place and we have not yet delivered a written deliverable to you.

To cancel, email hello@dreamcareer360.com and say you are cancelling. You do not have to give a reason. We refund within 15 days to the method you paid with.

After that, fees are not refundable, except where we cancel or cannot continue - in which case you get back the part you have not received; where we have not delivered what was promised and cannot put it right in a reasonable time; or where the law gives you a right to a refund.

Digital products - guides, templates, trackers and worksheets - are not refundable once downloaded. If a file is broken, tell us, and we will fix it or refund it.

7. Revisions

Ask for revisions within 10 calendar days of receiving each draft. Requests after that may carry a further fee.

8. If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Email hello@dreamcareer360.com and describe the problem. We will reply within 5 business days and try to resolve it.

If that does not work, either of us may ask for mediation in Ontario, with a mediator we both agree on, sharing the cost. If mediation does not resolve it, either of us may go to court.

None of this stops you from complaining to Consumer Protection Ontario, the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or any other regulator, or from bringing a claim in Small Claims Court. You do not have to come to us first.

9. Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you. Ontario consumer protection law gives you rights to cancel and to a refund that cannot be signed away, and where those rights apply, they apply regardless of what these terms say.

10. Liability

We take responsibility for our own mistakes, within limits.

We are not responsible for decisions you make, whether you get hired, what an employer or recruiter does, or anything arising from information you gave us that was not accurate.

If we are liable to you, the most we will owe in total is the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as earnings you did not receive.

We never limit our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit - including your rights under Ontario consumer protection law.

11. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.

12. Our materials

Templates, frameworks, guides and coaching materials remain ours. Your résumé, your LinkedIn profile and your roadmap are yours, to use for your own career for as long as you like. Please do not resell or publish our templates and frameworks, or use them to run a competing service.

13. General

These terms are governed by the law of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands.

We may change these terms for future purchases by publishing a new version. Changes do not apply to anything you have already bought - your purchase is governed by the version in force when you bought it.
